If you have an Intel chipset, that memory("low density" SDRAM) is very 
hard to find now, and I expect you could buy a new motherboard, cpu 
and 256 meg of DDR for that.

If you have a non-intel chipset, most(but not all!) will be able to use 
modern "high-density" PC100 or PC133 SDRAM and it is about $50-
$60 from high-rated retailers (newegg.com).
