I'm surprised Kyle hasn't chimed in yet -- he's a total Enlightenment
whore. I love Kyle's homage to the Matrix: <http://greenfly.org>

Enlightenment was the first window manager that I ever extensively used
and I liked it a bunch. I use Gnome/Sawfish now, partially because my
girlfriend hops on my computer from time to time and enlightenment is
too much for her ;-)

A couple of things that I like about it (enlightenment):

Highly customizable and can be made to be absolutely gorgeous. I loved
E's pager. E also starts up a whole hell of a lot quicker than Gnome or
KDE. Did I mention that it's gorgeous?

Speaking of customizability, I really dig Sawfish. Gnome is often
bundled with Metacity, but I think Metacity just plain blows.
Repository of Sawfish goodies:
<http://www.sics.se/~lofgren/sawmill/>  Sawmill == Sawfish

It's interesting that you use GKrellm as your launcher. One of the
reasons that I like installfests is that I can wander around and see how
other people configure their desktops, and how they work. (They just
think I'm nosy, but I don't care *what* they're working on, just how
they're doing it :)
