Can't give you much help; looks like you're doing everything that you
can.  But I can tell you how to lose the module:
I don't remember your distribition, but there should be a file in /etc
controlling which modules are loaded under which circumstances.
Look for /etc/modules.conf, /etc/modules, or if Debian, /etc/modutils

In one of those files there will either be an 'alias' for your wifi card
or just the name of the module itself.  Comment that line out.

If you're truly desperate, do a find for 'adm8211.o' (it should be in
in or near  /lib/modules/`uname -r`/kernel/drivers/net
Just move adm8211.o out of the way or delete it.

If you're having trouble booting, you can do this by booting a rescue CD
pr booting Linux in single user mode.

Well, I didn't exactly teach you how to fish, but hopefully pointed you
to a good fishin' hole. :)
