[NBLUG/talk] Printing

I am not able to get a printer, Deskjet 660cse, to work in Debian using
Printing Manager in KDE.

With Printing Manager I cannot print Test Page.

I tried using printtools and got the following;

Error printing test page to queue lp
sending job 'root at localhost'+24 to lp at localhost
connecting to 'localhost', attempt 1
cannot open connection to localhost - no such file or directory
Make sure the remote host supports the LPD protocol.

I can print directly to the port /dev/lp0.
