That one is easy!  I use vi, 'cos it's much more likely that it'll be
available when I'm troubleshooting sick boxen.  Other than that, I see
it as strictly a matter of personal taste (usually set by whichever
you first "seriously" used; I've *heard* *of* (but never met!) converts
from one camp to the other, and IME virtually everyone is true to their
first indoctrination...).
