# partprobe /dev/hde
bash: partprobe: command not found
# apt-get install partprobe
Reading Package Lists... Done
Building Dependency Tree... Done
E: Couldn't find package partprobe

Since I couldn't find partprobe on my system OR in the apt repository, I did a
Google search for partprobe, and while I found several copies of the man
page, I couldn't figure out why it isn't on my system or in the apt
repository.

I'm running Debian/Etch; I think I forgot to mention that earlier.

May a hundred thousand midgets invade your home singing cheesy lounge-lizard
versions of songs from The Wizard of Oz.
