Look, I'm correctly bottom posting.

It's from my old BBS handle Gandalf Retlaw. Before that it was a pen 
name a couple times. When I started poking around the internet in the 
early 90s you only got 7 letters so gandalf was it. Handed Dane a check 
and there we go.
