[NBLUG/talk] MS mouse

Hi Everyone,

I received a Microsoft mouse as a Christmas present!

It is a Microsoft Comfort Optical Mouse 3000.

Does anyone know if this mouse will function properly in a *nix environment, specifically Debian and FreeBSD?

I have lost track of my links to hardware compatibility lists, and the ones I find via Google seem to be obsolete.

Suggestions?
