My friend is preparing to pop for his first digital camera.

We decided he should probably see works well with his linux installation 
before dropping hard earned money on something flashy (get it? flashy!).

I thought I remembered a linux camera site along the lines of 
linuxprinting.org, but couldn't find anything even close.

Does anyone know of a site that gives compatibility information on a range of 
cameras?
