[NBLUG/talk] /etc/make.conf issues and a desire to strangle nVidia

Thanks, Aaron.
Just the let everyone knoew, I'm well into KDE now,
and picking out the individual features bit by bit. 
Gentoo sure is exciting.
For those playing at home, just as Aaron said, the
trick was the nVidia driver version, to resolution of
which was simply un emerge ing nvdia-glx and
nvidia-kernel and using the script from the nvidia
website (which was really simple.)  So the lesson to
the kids is: don't use emerge to install the nVidia
drivers.
