I just heard about this last night. If you want one of the
"alternative benefits" you need to act fast and submit a claim
form TODAY.

Epson got caught being bad and decided to settle a lawsuit
against it. People with eligible printers can get $45 back from
them, either in the form of an E-Store credit or cash + E-store
credit. See http://www.epsonsettlement.com/index.htm for more
details. The FAQ explains things pretty well. It appears that if
you want the standard benefit (the $45 E-Store credit), you have
until November to register your printer, but if you prefer one of
the alternative remedies, you need to get your claim form in the
mail today.
