[NBLUG/talk] OT: Meteorology

Sorry for the OT, but there's SO much background knowledge in the group that 
reads and participates in this list, and I've had so little success in 
finding answers to some questions online or in personal contacts.

Is there anyone here who is schooled in, or works in meteorology?

Specifically I have questions about natural environmental conditions.
Nothing too out there, just classical conditions.
