sendmail sucks.  Don't even try to learn it.  Postfix is really simple
by comparison.  The /etc/postfix/main.cf is pretty human readable.  You
can probably get it running without reading any docs.  

You set "mydomain=xxxx.tld", "myhostname=machine.xxxx.tld" and "myorigin = $mydomain".
