[NBLUG/talk] vmware vs xensource?

I have also used vmware server / player running Windoze on top of Ubuntu 7.04. The over all performance is fine, and I am able to do most things I need to. I plan on installing Ubunutu server (for testing) and FreeBSD 5 (also for testing). I also had success with the Windoze version of the player, accessing the VMs over the network. The only annoyance I found was having to reset the permissions on the VMs before they could be accessed over the network.

I also haven't had any experience with xen or xensource.
