[NBLUG/talk] Aaarggh! disconnecting webcam

OK, I un;lugged my webcam and now my thumbdrive isn't recognized when I plug
it in.  Is there anyway to tell it to disconnect before I unplug next time?
Is there anyway to tell it now (short of rebooting)?
