[NBLUG/talk] Mplayer and Fedora 8

Has anyone tried to use the Mplayer that comes with Fedora 8 to play DVDs?
I have and I'm failing miserably.  Looks like the picture is made up of
multi-colored giant pixels.  Any ideas?
