Yes, check the memory and maybe try a new video driver. You
should also check the motherboard, video card, and power supply
for bad capacitors. Due to a botched industrial espionage job a
while back, a whole mess of faulty caps were put on the market
and ended up in a lot of electronic devices. There's a Wikipedia
page and at least one Website devoted to the problem. Google for
"bad capacitors" for more info.
