[NBLUG/talk] Sebastopol Downtown WiFi

Hi local geeks,

I've heard that there are some "concerned citizens" who are trying to  
stop Sonic.net from deploying their free WiFi in the Sebastopol  
downtown core.  The deployment was approved back in November: http:// 
www.ci.sebastopol.ca.us/pdfs/citycouncil/11-20-07CCMinutes.pdf

However, it may be that if enough "concerned citizens" turn out  
against it at the City Council Meeting on the 18th, they will rescind  
the approval.

If you support sonic.net being allowed to use city light polls to  
deploy free WiFi in the downtown Sebastopol core, please turn out at  
the March 18th, 2008 City Council meeting and speak in support.
