You can still use Konqueror as well as other K apps in other window
managers. If you like gnome and Konqueror run em' I've been playing
with 4.1 and seems to be flawless on openSuSE 11.1 Although I have not
been testing every nook and cranny.

My ram fills up pretty quickly using KDE and I'm starting to like the
real lighter managers like xfce and icewm. Icewn loads in a blink of
an eye!
