[NBLUG/talk] Debian 5.0 installation problems

Anyone had any experience installing the new stable debian 5.0 - Lenny?

I've tried installing it from two different sources onto a laptop that was 
running lenny as testing, and most recently 4.0 stable. It won't progress 
beyond the first line: unpacking the vmlinuz. Then it just hangs there.

I'm stumped because while the machine is not the raciest kid on the block 
(truly, it's 10 years old) it's been a paragon of stability.

Just thought I'd probe for similar incidents and possible solutions found.
