[NBLUG/talk] EFF gives Sonic.net only 4-star rating in government privacy report

This is pretty cool. With the normal Slashdot reading came a surprise to
me today when they mentioned our area's very own Sonic.net in the EFF's
government privacy report. The report examines 18 major ISPs and rates
them on how they handle customer privacy when it comes to "the man"
asking for private information. We should be proud to have such an
honorable Internet provider's headquarters right in our area.

providers, and social networking sites — to assess whether they publicly
commit to standing with users when the government seeks access to user
