Hello all,

I just read an Ars Technica article on software patents. I think you may 
find it interesting: "Opinion: The problem with software patents? They 
don't scale"

The author makes the analogy of scaling to two-dimensional space; a 
contractor looking to build can easily look up a parcel, thus resulting 
in scalability.
