A few people may be interested in the Kano kickstarter:

Kano is a build-it-yourself computer kit powered by Raspberry Pi.  The goal is to have kids feel some ownership over "their" computer and provide them with a number of software and hardware centered learning projects.  Their kickstarter ends in less than 48 hours and you can still get a kit that includes everything from a Pi, a cool wireless keyboard with a touchpad built in, a wi-fi adapter, a case, cables, and a DYI speaker for $120.
