Once -- many years ago -- I installed security systems for a living. 
I'll never forget the liquor store somewhere down in So. Cal. where the

You're right.  It might not hurt to put in some kind of a fake antenna 
as part of your system. Maybe also an obvious (fake ?) camera they could 
steal as a distraction:)

There used to be a wireless group associated with the Linux group out 
your way.  Are they still in existence?
