You should be able to do what you want to do with a webcam and a<br>
Raspberry Pi (or whatever spare machine you have kicking around). A<br>
webcam for this purpose can be purchased for under $50. There are some<br>
nice tutorials online for setting up a home security system; just make<br>
sure it upload pictures before the power gets cut.<br>
