I flocked from Ubuntu, because I thought apt was too cryptic for
beginners (which is essentially what Ubuntu is for). I also
thought it was an incredibly juvenile operating system.<br>
<br>
One of the advantages that Gentoo has - speaking from personal
experience here - is that the packages are much easier to
configure prior to install than opposed to Fedora or Ubuntu.<br>
