Hello all,

I hope everyone enjoyed my presentation the other week! I was worried that I was either going to go over everyone's heads or err in the opposite direction, but everyone seemed to enjoy the presentation.

I'm running short on cash now, and am looking for work. I'm open to either short-term contracts or permanent positions.

About a year ago, I left a job in Silicon Valley to be closer to my parents and deal with some ongoing family issues. In the meantime, I've worked on a string of small business ideas, none of which have panned out yet. I'm hoping to have my Android app out soon, but I've finally gone broke and need money now.

I have a bachelor's degree in software engineering, and seven years' experience in the field. I've worked with C and C++, Java, Python, and TCl, and have dabbled in Haskell. Right now I'm trying to reinvent myself as an expert in Django and Android development. I've also been using Linux as my primary operating system for a decade now, and feel fairly good about my system administration skills, but have no formal training or work experience in that area.
