There should be a:
TCP/IP -> Intel(R) PRO/100 VM Network Connection
in that list unless I'm mistaken.

This means that you're not hooked up for TCP/IP on the NIC. Click Add 
underneath, select protocol TCP/IP and select the Pro/100, probably 
reboot, you might need your win cd. You'll need to configure the NIC for 
TCP/IP depending on your setup, most routers are ok with auto settings.
