Scott,
Thanks for the hint.  I am so ignorant about command line syntax. I get
discouraged very often about not knowing how to format a command line.
I am trying to graduate from the click and drag category of folks, and
am grateful for
each individual new command I learn.

When I tried it, the response was similar to one I had seen before:

SIOCADDRT: File exists
SIOCADDRT: Invalid argument
