NBLUG Mirror Survey

Hi Dustin!

I am starting to use the mirrors from home more... I find it handier to
install different Linux distros with the netwok.img file than burnig a CD...

Would I miss the mirros, sure. OTOH, maybe an up-to-date list of other
mirror sites might be just as good....

My .02,

Paul Stagnoli

Subject: NBLUG Mirror Survey

Greetings folks,

I'm just taking an informal survey. If you have a second, if you could let
me know your thoughts, I'd appreciate it. If you have other general
thoughts other than the questions I've come up with below, please feel free
to include that as well. These questions are just a starting point.

* How often do you use the mirrors (daily, weekly, monthly etc)?

* Do you use the mirrors from home? From work?

* If you use the mirrors at work, do you work from home?

* If you use the mirrors at work, have you pointed other co-workers to them?

* When you do use the mirrors, do you grab many files or just a few?

* When you use the mirrors, are you usually downloading files or ISO images
of a distribution?

* If you download ISO images, about how often do you download them?

* If the mirrors were severly cutback or removed, would you miss them?

* If the mirrors were severly cutback or removed, would you feel NBLUG
became less usefull as a LUG and perhaps wasn't living up to what you feel
is part of it's mission?

Thank you for your time,

-Dustin
