There's an even easier way to check if DNS is the issue:
1.1) Tell us which of the following URLs work and don't work:
   a) http://nblug.org/
   b) http://www.nblug.org/
   c) http://mirror.nblug.org/
   d) http://208.201.242.2/
   e) http://ns.wiredgoats.com/ (gtld-servers return A record, not NS)
   f) http://www.sonic.net/ (same provider, network, etc.)
   g) http://www.mirafiori.com/ (In the same /25)

If a through c don't work and d works; it's a DNS problem. If d doesn't
work, then DNS isn't the issue (see filtering; try "traceroute
208.201.242.2")

Also, "dig nblug.org", "dig www.nblug.org" and "dig mirror.nblug.org" are
your friends. If they work, then DNS is presumably not the problem.

Trying d, f, g and traceroutes to same would help illuminate this issue.
Also getting the exact IPs (so one of us can traceroute from nblug.org)
would help.
