[NBLUG/talk] Firewire in RH 9.0

Hi, all!

Has anyone had any experience using Firewire (IEEE 1394) in Red Hat 9.0?  I had it working in 8.0, but now is doesn't seem to work in 9.0.  The driver recognizes the hard drive (you can see the info in /proc/scsi/scsi), but when I try to mount /dev/sda1 mount tells me it can't read the drive, has I/O errors, and barfs.  Fdisk says that /dev/sda1 isn't a block device.  Anyone know how to get this going?
