[NBLUG/talk] Installing Linux

I have a new computer, and now my boot disk to Linux does not work.
 
Q. I have an old Suse 7.2 Pro Boxset. 6 CD's & 1 DVD. Is it worth using
this, and then upgrading the
Packages as needed.
 
Or is this too outdate?
 
Else I'll download RH9 and install that as a lesson for a newbie.
