Last time I checked Oracle had ports for everything a professional SQL DB
programmer needs.  (RDBMS itself, drivers, all sorts of add-ons, extras,
etc.)  However, they didn't have much in the way of things like "forms
builder" or "designer" available for Linux.  (the first of those basically
let's you very quickly create simple applications that consist of barely
more than a form that generates a SQL statement and returns results.  The
second is very useful for people that don't SQL well enough to simply design
the tables and who wouldn't want the extra hassle of creating their own UML
DB diagrams)
