[NBLUG/talk] Gnome: Keyboard not working with Terminal window

Troy -

Nothing is obvious for me since Linux is so new.

I have the color set to Black on White; the titlebar is blue and the 
cursor is blinking black.  However, nothing happens when I press the 
keys on the keyboard.
