You can get a pretty good base system off a single ISO.
If you have broadband, you can just install everything off the 'net,
after booting up with a pair of discs or two.

I had an old (2.2) Debian disc that I used to install a box or two, and
then simply did an "apt-get dist-upgrade" and sat while it installed about
2 years' worth of upgrades to the base system. :^)  Then I just
"apt-get install ..."ed any of the actual specific packages that I needed
(X-Window, KDE, etc.) from Debian's mirrors, and other sources, as needed!

You got broadband?  Make a pair of boot-n-root discs for Debian Woody (stable)
and just pull it all off the 'net! :^)  No burning needed!
