At home, I have a 3ware 7000 that I got cooking with the Debian 
Installer. I've tried both 2.4 and 2.6 (and back to 2.4 for other
reasons). All worked like a charm.

Let me know if you get the web interface cooking. I haven't gotten
to getting it installed but feel very silly about that.
