To me, the correct word here would appear to be,
not "ambiguous," but "wrong"...  As in, "the myth
docs are /wrong/ on this point"

Of course, I've only been an interested onlooker
of myth & various endeavors that way, so /I/ may
be "wrong on this point" myself...
