Ok, the memory looks good then although I just put more on it. I've got
two instances of apache running on seperate ports. The one is pre-bundled
with a software package. I think I'd rather just have the one, but there
are advantages of running like this. Anyway, my memory utalization looks
pretty good then. After a fresh boot it comes up mostly unused but as
caching takes affect it makes use of the memory to speed things up.

Any ideas on the gnome/kde thing? Anybody run into this?
