I have had good luck with the logitech QuickCam Pro 4000 (I belive it
has a built in Mic as well). I can't speak for it working with Skype,
but it seems to work very well with GnomeMeeting and RHEL WS 4.
The main downfall is the price...it seems to be hovering around $80-$100.
