Linux Install Event @ Reuse Hub

Just a quick note that our own Dan Aukes is running a workshop, “Repurpose Your Old Computer with Linux” at the Petaluma Reuse Hub this Saturday:

Do you have an computer that you would you like to convert into an internet machine or a home server? This workshop will provide you with the opportunity to install Ubuntu Linux on your machine and answer questions along the way. Please come with a spare, backed-up laptop that is not essential for your daily tasks. We will discuss non-destructive alternatives for trying Linux. Almost any 64-bit x86 processor is supported, including Intel x86 Macs from between 2006-2020. A working USB port is required.
