Have you looked at the prices of ChromeBooks and thought "Wow that's
cheap! Too bad they don't run my OS of choice." **Well, they can! In
this talk, Robert will go over the options to give you "more" linux with
your ChromeOS device, from just accessing the crosh (chrome-os-shell) to
flashing a new ROM with Coreboot & SeaBIOS and installing the linux
distro of your choice. - Robert

During this meeting we will be accepting donations for a replacement
projector, our first major purchase as a user group in nearly a decade.
We are not a 501(c)(3) non-profit and cannot provide receipts for tax
purposes, but don't let that stop you we can accept cash or checks.
Thanks for your support!
The projector fund is going well, we are upto $400, including the
existing treasury. We are currently hoping to buy a WXGA (1280x800)
projector in the $450 + tax range. ($500). Our current projector
is only VGA (800x600), not bright enough, and only has VGA input.
